Steve Dezember specializes in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. He has conducted a wide range of assignments from recruiting CEOs and board members to recruiting various R&D and technical operations positions. Because he has held several executive leadership positions with Fortune 100 companies, Steve offers a unique understanding of the operational needs of the demanding healthcare industry.

Previous Experience
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney Executive Search, Steve held numerous operational and consulting positions. He was a member of the leadership team for Gemini Consulting’s pharmaceutical practice, he was Executive Vice President of Everest & Jennings, and the Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Bristol-Myers Squibb’s cardiovascular and vascular division. Steve has written extensively and presented on numerous topics including: building strategies for patent expiration, managing the new managed-care environment, and defining success profiles for executives in high-tech organizations. He has also led major business initiatives including organizational transformations, mergers and acquisitions, and turnarounds.

Steve earned his B.S., magna cum laude, and his M.B.A. from Indiana State University.
