Shelly Weiss Storbeck has conducted more than 300 searches for public and private universities, colleges and schools, and  not-for-profit associations and organizations. Shelly previously served as the chair, and is currently a member of the American Council on Education Executive Search Roundtable. Her previous experience includes serving as the director of Haverford College’s Middle State Accreditation Process. Besides this, Shelly has also served  as a member of ACENIP (American Council on Education National Identification Program); she is also a member of the Modern Language Association and the Philadelphia School District Collaborative Committee for Schools and Colleges. A Member of Phi Beta Kappa, Shelly writes and consults on issues relating to secondary and higher education.

 

Previous Experience
Before joining the executive search industry, Shelly was Assistant to the President for Educational Affairs at Haverford College (Haverford, PA) which included experience for all senior administrative searches.  She was also a teacher of English at The Baldwin School (Bryn Mawr, PA) and  English and Religion at Phillips Academy (Andover, MA).

Education
Shelly earned her Master of Arts in English from Bryn Mawr College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion from Dickinson College.
