Previous Experience
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney Executive Search, Thorvald held senior vice president positions at Elkem ASA, one of Europe's largest suppliers of aluminium and ferroalloys, and Saga Petrochemical/Statoil/Borealis, a major oil and petrochemicals company.

Education
Thorvald is educated from the Norwegian Military Academy, the University of Oslo and the Norwegian School of Management.
