Paul Ray, Jr. leads the firm’s Board of Directors Competency Center, is a member of the firms Consumer Goods and Retail practice, and is the acting Head of the Industrial Markets Practice. He also has geographic responsibility for the firm’s Asia Pacific and Latin American Regions. Paul has more than 20 years of experience in retained executive searches, performing assignments at the board and senior-executive level. He has been recognized for outstanding contribution to the executive search profession with the Gardner W. Heidrick award, the industry's highest honor and the first recipient of the Eleanor Raynolds Award for excellence in search and volunteerism. Currently, Paul is the only individual in the search industry to have received both awards.

Previous Experience
Prior to joining A.T. Kearney Executive Search, Paul was Chairman and CEO of another top 10 executive search firm. Earlier in his career Paul was Director of Marketing at R.J. Reynolds.

Education
Paul earned his B.S. in business administration at the University of Arkansas, and his J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law.
